The time and coordination that goes into planning a fundraising or awareness raising event can be tiresome. Success though, is often the reward for that hard work and dedication that goes into putting on these events. That is why we strive to make our “Red Carpet” events as special and memorable as we can for the honorees and attendees on their night. Throughout each year select fundraisers and events are designated as “Red Carpet” events. As a part of the Lujack contribution, a V.I.P. style red carpet and photographer are rolled out to capture moments from attendee’s special night.
It’s our way of making sure the guests at these events get a V.I.P feeling to accommodate their V.I.P night. These events bring people with a caring heart, together for a common cause. That’s something we believe should be celebrated; and captured. In 1997 the American Cancer Society began hosting their “Night of the Stars” event to honor local individuals for their driven desire to go above & beyond in the fight against cancer. This magical night under the stars is headlined with live music, great food / drinks, and even better company.To cap off the night, the “Hope”, “Inspiration”, & “Dedication” awards are handed out to commemorate the dedication & hard work done in our area each year.
Notre Dame men’s basketball Head Coach Mike Brey, has long been a supporter of the American Heart Association. His “Men of Heart” initiative helps raise money and awareness each year for men’s heart health. Events like the Mardi Gras Masquerade, Tip-Off for Heart, & BBQ with Brey are held with our Red Carpet to capture just how big of an impact our community can have.
This annual Windfall gala is held to help raise money for Montessori education curriculum through live / silent auctions and donations. Each classroom donated a prepared basket for auction show just what makes Montessori academy education so special. Initiatives to help the academy ‘go green’, and fundraiser money helped bring in over $100,000 for varying areas of the curriculum.
