DO NOT GO TO GURLEY LEEP for emergency service. On October 14, 2024, I pulled into the service department on Douglas Road. After charging me 169.95 to diagnose a battery problem, I was then charged an additional 343.50 for the battery. HIGHWAY robbery as I am a senior citizen who was on her way out of town that afternoon. Because I wanted to be sure that the car was operational for my return trip to Florida, they also told me that I needed an engine air filter ($112.38) --when I returned, I learned that I had had that filter replaced less than 6 months ago. Clearly, the service department took advantage of a stressful situation for a senior citizen
Poor experience, I bought a used 2015 GMC 1500 pick up It looked pretty good except they had just got it in on trade and hadn't cleaned it up yet. So the day I picked it up it was supposable had been detailed and the oil changed? The interior was half way clean it still had dog hair in the passengers side door and the engine compartment is as dirty as it was when I looked at it the first time. all this dealer prep for 495.00. Then to have the A/C work at the dealer and get it home and now all I get is hot air. Not very thrilled.
No response at all about a used vehicle. You would think a dealer would want to contact as many people to sell a car...

This place is a joke! They sell a car to a customer that lives in Elkhart but service only provides transportation for customers who live in St. Joe county. I was offered an Uber as a ride home and then told nobody would be able to pick me up. Seriously this is a joke. On another note, I highly doubt that this car is actually a true certified pre owned car emphasizing the certified part. Brakes were bad, horrible noise in the undercarriage, sun roof doesn’t close all of the way, second fob is so damaged that it won’t even open the doors. I’ll spare all of you the rest of the list that’s wrong. The Gurley Leep experience so far has not been all it’s cracked up to be. I would not recommend the service Dept to anyone and the follow up is horrible. Get the sale and forget about the customer, should actually be their modo.
Their service Dept. took 8 hours plus to do an oil change and tire rotation. They were supposed to install a chip they said they had, then they didn’t have, then we were told Yes, they had the chip and after trying to fry through on the phone to the service Dept which never answered their phone , it was getting near 5pm and we still had I heard from them, we went down there. To be told the chop is back ordered and no real explanation as to why it took all day for the service to be completed. You lost my trust. Elkhart isn’t that far away
They never followed up with me about the car, no phone call or email disappointing.
The website sucks and so does the phone system. I tried to cancel a service appt for my Cadillac three different times and neither worked. The website seems not to offer a method of cancelling even though I set up the appt on the website. So I tried the in house phone line and the operator failed twice to connect me to the right person to cancel. Incredibly inefficient for them and for me. I will not buy another car from these people.
Avoid this dealership, beware of lemons, and beware of the service department that doesn’t really care for the quality of a repair. Have had 8 different issues within a a few weeks of purchasing our 17’ Acadia. If I could leave zero stars I would.
Tyler Amaro provided us with awesome cust. service. We spoke on the phone and was sold on him before even meeting him. He answered all of my questions and attentive to my needs. We stayed past closing hours and he did not complain staying late and was ver accommodating. Bobby Likens our finance guy was also very pleasant and explained each form to us. When we picked up our car. Marco helped transfer everything out from our old car to our new car. I love the team work everyone displayed. Awesome job!
Found the car I’d been looking for on Cars.com, called Gurley Leep and was lucky to get Yvonne Diaz. Since pics hadn’t been posted yet, Yvonne personally took some pics and emailed them to me. After my 2 hr drive to get to Mishawaka, Yvonne had the car ready to test drive, and was excellent throughout the sale. 3 hrs later, Yvonne had the car detailed and ready to go. So pleased with her help and professionalism! Hope she stays in the car business, because I’ll definitely be back to buy from her again.

Quick and easy. Wrecker picked it up at 10 AM. Text for approval at 2 PM. Done and notified me at 4:30 I could pick it up anytime before 6:00. I love it.
Honest, professional, john sims knew exactly what I wanted. Helped me in the best way he could. Went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable. They even offer a shuttle service. I went to numerous other dealerships and in retrospect I should have just came here I was given a fair price. They so not take advantage of their customers when they know you're a first time buyer. I could go on but ya know.
