2012 GMC Acadia To Be Revealed Next Week in Chicago

The Chicago Auto Show is just around the corner (February 8-9, 2012, to be precise), and GMC is certainly geared up and ready for the show. The Chicago Auto Show has always been known as a "truck" show (possibly due to its large space at the McCormick Place), which is why the American automaker held off from making its 2012 debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January. At the show, GMC plans to unveil a refreshed version of one of its most popular models, the 2012 GMC Acadia.

Little is currently known about the new GMC Acadia, but  Gurley Leep GM can tell you that it will be a mid-cycle update, not a completely new design, and it will feature upgrades to the interior design, as well as exterior tweaks. The Acadia has been around for quite some time now; it was first launched in 2006 as a 2007 model, and it's certainly due for some interior and exterior upgrades to keep up with the changing American auto styles. Unfortunately, at this time, that's all the information we have about the new GMC. We'll have to wait and see if it will be joined by a Denali variant, or if it will only appear in its standard CUV version.

Though we don't know much about the 2012 Acadia update, Gurley Leep GM certainly does have a lot of information about the current Acadia; like the fact that it has amazing comfort features, roomy cargo space, and excellent performance.
