Sales of GMC Terrain Soar

GMC Terrain continues to impress buyers and dealership employees since its introduction in September 2009. Sales of the all new vehicle have grown 56 percent year over year. Terrain is averaging 17 days on dealer lots, compared to 31-day averages among competitors.

Press Release: GM Surpasses Landfill-Free Facilities Commitment

DETROIT -  General Motors said today that 52 percent of its worldwide facilities are now landfill-free, meaning all waste generated from

normal operations is reused, recycled or converted to energy.

GM now has 76 landfill-free facilities, achieving a global operations commitment established in 2008 to convert 50 percent of its 145 plants
